Hello! I’m Janette Budge

Hi there! I'm Janette Budge. I'm a Shetland knitwear designer and tutor, creating unique patterns and garments as well as teaching others the techniques of Fair Isle knitting. I've been a tutor and volunteer with the very successful Shetland Wool Week since 2016, giving workshops to visiting knitwear enthusiasts from all over the World.

I help to inspire knitters and crafters by sharing my knitting projects and knitting history. Showing people Shetland through my crafting eyes, my ideas, my landscape and reflections on my crafting life and the crafting life of my ancestors.
