Description

Have fun learning how to knit Fair Isle.  We will cover ways to attach new colours, different ways you can hold your yarns, how to carry your yarn at the back (floats), achieve an even tension and tips on colour choice and patterns.  This project is knit in the round.  You will have the chance to make your own fair isle colour combination from your stash at home. I will give you techniques on how to get the look you are after, whether you want a more subtle look, traditional or bold and bright.

This is an online class in 2 parts – 1 purchase for both parts

Part 1: We will cover how to choose colours for fair isle projects. Different ways to approach this, how to edit and what to keep in mind.

Part 2: We will cover fair isle knitting techniques. Ways to get a good finish to your fair isle knitwear both as you knit and when the knitting is done.
