Margaret tells of her judging days and how she’s been involved with shows across the decades. Plus she gives a detailed demonstration on how she knits with the Shetland knitting belt with one hand after having a stroke in 2011. We have a discussion on long needles, lace patterns and how she casts on . Anne talks about how she became involved with the sheep and the Flock Book. Hear about Anne’s homemade “lamb pram”! The family are well known throughout the isles and beyond for their quality Shetland wool. Winning prizes both in Shetland and the
Scottish Mainland for their sheep and fleeces. They breed a variety of colours on their farm in the north mainland of Shetland,
including moorit, Shetland black and grey.
